After successfully building the IT Service Management business of The Remarc Group to a £2 million
per annum business, Akamas Consulting founder and owner Barry Corless decided in early 2010 to offer a full range of
Service Management solutions himself. Akamas Consulting was born in 2007 but lay more or less dormant waiting for
the day when it would be unleashed on an unsuspecting Service Management world.
Profile:
Barry has over 20 years
IT industry experience in public sector, retail and IT service provider roles. He has been delivering
Service Management education and consultancy since 1999. He is currently the Chair of the itSMF (UK), ITIL
version 2 Chief Examiner for the APM Group, an ITIL version 3 Examiner and a Fellow of the Institute of Service Management
